Thread: Sticky window control

    Default Sticky window control

So after 18 months of Superb ownership I came across my first issue. The driverside electric window control started playing up this morning. So I popped the unit out the door handle and removed the switch module out of the moulding. This allowed me to flush the switch contact with metho and give the contact a wipe. Seemed to work fine afterwards and this may just be a bit of corrosion build up in the contact. Watch this space.

yeah, it's amazing what you can find on the switches after a few years of buildup.

I think the fact the driverside is used the most and the door is more likely to be opened in rainy conditions. The water would run straight into contacts.
