Problem with disappearing Infotainment screen on Skoda Octavia RS sedan 2023

Hi guys

My wife has had this Skoda Octavia RS sedan new, since Oct 22 and it has been fine except about a month ago, the infotainment screen would intermittently disappear at totally random times. Yesterday the problem became so bad that we took the car to the local Skoda dealer who did a software update and all was well for the first few trips until, just now, the disappearing screen has come back to haunt us..... It just comes and goes randomly.

The whole screen goes blank other than the time and the radio and phone ceases to function until it randomly returns. Grrrrr!

Any ideas what could be causing this? Any help would be appreciated before we take the car back to the dealer.

it's either the physical screen (could be overheating?) or the amp at a guess.

maybe find somebody close to you with a scanner to see if any codes.

where are you located?

HI there I am in Melbourne in bayside suburbs. The Skoda dealer has already checked for codes and did a software update. What do you mean by "amp" in your post?
 
Not sure on your car, but my brothers car has the 'screen' and then the amplifier is under the drivers seat... So really two components to get the functions..
