What is the 37G8 recall for?

Hi guys

Further to my issues in March, and still not having any further info on what happened.
I was cleaning the car and lifted the access cover to the spare wheel well and found a recall sticker stuck in there which has "37G8" recall and the date which was 28/3/13!
Is this to do with the DSG recall or something else?
I still don't have any firm answers!

The "37G8" campaign is an update of your vehicles 7speed DSG software. It is to improve driveability and decrease the chances of your DSG Mechatronic module to fail.
